The Portland Co was created by designer, Terry Jackson in 2016. Previously called Papercuts by CEF, he started the company in 2012 whilst in his final of 8 years at university studying architecture. With a passion for architecture, interior design, and anything creative, the small business idea quickly expanded worldwide, and he is a proud partner of notonthehighstreet.com.
The business began to grow after he was approached by NOTHS to create the trophies for the 2013 Make Awards, held at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London. Since then, orders began to increase, and the business became a full time job. Terry left his position as an architect, and went on to expand his product range on NOTHS.
The following year, he was approached by Belgraves Hotel in Londons Belgravia, Knightsbridge, to bid for an installation for their 2014 Christmas window display. Terry was chosen for the installation, which went on to win the most creative window display of 2014 in Knightsbridge, and was featured in many publications, including The Independant's top 10 window displays in the world, along side Claridge's, Browns Hotel, the Neon Museum in Vegas, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany & Co in New York, and Barneys.
The Portland Co sells worldwide, and have created many bespoke frames pieces. We are happy to work to commissions, so if you have any enquiries, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
